Local PANS/PANDAS Support

Based in Massachusetts, The JBC Foundation provides compassionate, knowledgeable support to affected families in our local communities.

The JBC Foundation is headquartered in beautiful Scituate, Massachusetts—25 miles south of Boston.

While we started as an organization focused solely on raising money to distribute to our grant recipients, we’ve evolved over the past two years. It became clear that in addition to financial support, there was an urgent need to provide personal support to area families struggling with a PANS/PANDAS diagnosis.

Cathy and Jennifer, JBC’s President and Executive director, began meeting with families looking for honest advice and local resources for care.  In 2011, Cathy and Jennifer were connected by a PANS/PANDAS specialist who treated their children. To say it changed both their lives is an understatement. The two women provided each other the support, friendship, and understanding they needed to navigate the path to healing. More than a decade later, they are grateful to be able to pay it forward and help other families who feel lost, overwhelmed, and alone.

Connect with the JBC Team

Via in person or Zoom meetings, we regularly talk with families to help them find local resources, guidance, and support. If you have any questions or would like to speak with veteran PANS/PANDAS parents, please email us at grants@jbcfund.org to set up a time.

You are not alone—and there is a path to healing!

Join our JBC Hour (via Zoom)

The JBC Hour is a special designated time to connect with other parents of children and young adults with PANS/PANDAS. This is a safe, caring space where you can give and get support from people going through similar struggles.

Our Zoom meeting is open to families of grant recipients as well as the families JBC is supporting.

For more information, please email us at grants@jbcfund.org

Participate in our local JBC Support Retreat

We know how physically and mentally exhausting it is to care for a PANS/PANDAS child. Our retreats, designed for caregivers of our grant recipients and local parents we are supporting, allow you to set aside a day for yourself. This is your time to relax, recharge your soul, and make new friends.

These are invitation-only retreats, but we hope to expand them to more people in the future!
